Details	本論文では、Gタンパク質共役型受容体ループ領域の長短の組み合わせを、2ビットのパターンとして表現することによって検出する方法を開発した。この方法によって、従来の配列類似性による分類に比べ、GPCRを高精度で分類することができることを明らかにした。さらに、この方法をゲノム配列解読済みの真核生物10種に適用し、網羅的にGPCR候補配列の検出を行ない、クラス、サブクラス、サブ-サブクラスに分類した。
