Details	GPIアンカー型タンパク質はヒトの重篤な疾患と関連が深いが、ヒトゲノムには未だ同定されていないGPIアンカー型タンパク質が多数潜んでいることが指摘されている。そこで我々は、哺乳類GPIアンカー型タンパク質のアミノ酸配列の物理化学的特徴の抽出を試みた。その結果、N末端側とC末端側の高疎水性領域と、糖脂質GPIが修飾される残基付近のアミノ酸出現傾向が、GPI修飾に本質的であることが明らかになった。
